NEW: We are now in the season of VIRGO, You can click here to read about that VIRGO in your life, born AUG.23-Sept.22 (depending on the year of birth)
DON'T FORGET, we are moving through the incredible Cosmic Cross configuration. If you begin to believe all things are possible, you are closer to being right than wrong. The world is changing and even the oil leak seems to have stopped. But...READ ON...
On Monday, July 26th, SATURN HAD ITS LAST EXACT OPPOSITION to Uranus. We won't need to deal with this reforming aspect again for the next 45 years. The first opposition coincided exactly with President Obama's election in fall of 2008. The second occurred in early Feb. 2009 right after the inauguration. The third opposition occurred again in April when we saw the utter collapse of the stock market and global financial systems. The fourth opposition synchronized with the oil spill and another big stock market drop. July 26 marks the last of these oppositions. We will see gradual recovery on many fronts BUT ONLY WHEN strict changes are made to reform financial, social and religious institutions. Since last August of 2008, we have been embroiled in a brutal tug-of-war between (Saturn) refusal to change old outgrown corrupt ways vs. (Uranus) sudden, jarring, overdue global reforms that clear away the dead wood and force renewal.
WE ARE ALSO IN THE MIDDLE OF THE cosmic cross or T-square in the sky that intrigues astrologers because it is supposed to mark a very special period of time. Over the next two months this rare cosmic cross (involving Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn and Pluto) is suppose to coincide with an invigorating, sometimes disruptive, but very positive change in our lives. Saturn has also returned to Libra after being Retrograde for several months. Saturn is exalted in Libra and will stay with us until October of 2012. People will more willingly focus and work together for the common good-as well as themselves-and receive blessings accordingly.
----intrigues astrologers. Changes that may include global collaboration can be expected.
According to Chinese Astrology we have entered the Year of the Tiger ...the golden Tiger. If you know anyone born after January in 1926,1938,1951,1962,1974,1986,1998, or 2010, you know someone born in the Year of the Tiger. We have just entered a Tiger year, notorious for being turbulent or at least unsettling. If you are an adventurous type, play it safe this year, unless, of course you were born in a Tiger year. In that case, your large scale schemes could possibly work out.
READ AT NO OBLIGATION an excerpt from Elna's "remarkable life story" MOUNTAIN ASH at: Xlibris.com
From Elna: The book took over three years to write. Much of it had to be written between 3-5 early mornings. Some experiences I have never told before, probably because they are so hard to believe. But I am telling them anyway.
MIND AND SOUL come from different places. Psychologist Carl Jung writes."The soul demands your folly, not your wisdom"....The Red Book [264]"The newly born baby is marked by the patterns of the stars at the moment it comes into the world"...Johannes Kepler _Harmonics Mundi Chpt. 7In Keplar's time, astrologers referred to any heavenly body as a star including the moon and planets. In fact, Astrology has nothing at all to do with the stars, except for the fact that when the study began, the signs were named after constellations beginning with Aries at the equinoctial node. Astrology refers only to our solar system as regarded from earth, and the only star in the package is the sun.
SATURN IS no longer Retrograde. We know planets don't really move backwards or stand still. But this is an apparent motion, as perceived from our astrological viewpoint on earth. This situation synchronizes with delaying action on some level.
THIS IS NOT THE BEST TIME to launch big plans for the future. Saturn will remain Retrograde in Virgo until late May. For now, perfect your plans and consider June as a launching pad.Late July Saturn will return to its rightful place in Venus-ruled Libra.THE NEW YEAR 2010: Struggles, Surprises, and Accomplishments
WE SAY GOOD-BYE to a difficult, daunting decade. But inventive changes are afoot. Much of what is new and untried can flash over the landscape. By next year at this time we may be aghast at the changes that have taken place.
THERE ARE unheard-of possibilities that can emerge in the year to come. Dreams of many can come true. What we have always wanted could suddenly manifest. But there are likely to be turbulent shocks and surprises, especially as Uranus challenges Pluto with deep explosive eruptions. (Weather, earthquake, mud slides, volcanoes, floods, unusual eruptions)
Dark secrets will be brought to light. We won't even be able to hide our deepest secrets from ourselves. These very secrets have the power and energy to inform future decisions.
The five Saturn/Uranus oppositions will bring unheralded changes as Saturn's structures and institutions fall and Uranus forces overdue reforms.
Jupiter will enter the sign Pisces for most of the year beginning January 19. From then until June, our compassion for those who are hurting will seem magnified as we learn how many are suffering. June 7th, Jupiter will enter Aries until early September when it will go back into Pisces until well into the 2011.
THIS YEAR WE ARE MORE LIKELY to dare to think in a new direction in order to solve problems and safeguard our interests. So much has happened since 9/11 that we still face the continued fallout and collective karma of our past. People in high places may fall as their secrets are made visible to the world. Only if people and institutions can make quick and drastic changes in their thinking and attitudes, can they recoup their losses. Institutions we thought were infallible could crumble in the dust. SATURN WILL BE IN LIBRA MUCH OF THIS YEAR, and FAR BEYOND AND will exact a fair and focused justice for all.
Uranus is associated with shock value, awakening us collectively from our own self absorptions. We can still seek out our dreams and goals with enthusiasm and fervor, but if those dreams do not align and serve the goals and needs of others as well, they will fall to the ground like empty husks.
Astrologers are looking with serious interest at a Cosmic Cross or T-Square that looms in 2010. Beginning in May and continuing through June and on, we will see evidence of turbulence that has global significance. As we take care of our responsibilities and trust the enduring wisdom of the universe, we can view this aspect with interest, that lends itself to self-reflection and the willingness to change.
CAPITALISM is here to stay, but unbridled, undisciplined materialism has to go. It doesn't work in the long term without some wise built-in disciplines and caps. The weight of purely personal gain shoots us in the foot and can eventually bankrupt us. As soon as we get what we want, we want something more. The ego is relentless, making us think we are never enough as we already are. We are enough. This is the year to spend less than what we earn so we can have the fun and confidence that comes from financial solvency.
THE PISCEAN INFLUENCE will allow us to take pity on our bodies as we realize our personal habits are killing us. Uranian energies and external forces may force us to change what we won't do for ourselves...forcing us to survive.
This year and next, a foundation will be erected for the positive tranformations that will likely be in place by 2012.
